Ed Sheeran (Atlantic)

Work for Ed Sheeran’s ‘Bad Habits’ single campaign. The campaign led with a cinematic-style teaser launching on Ed’s social channels and announcing his return. Further assets included a main 20” TVC, as well as additional assets with alternate video footage, and re-sized and shorter versions for use across Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and more.

For this campaign we also delivered Facebook Carousel assets, canvas visuals for the track on Spotify, visuals for Ed’s page on Apple Music, and various edits using behind the scenes footage shot during the making of the music video.

Additionally, I produced full-motion and still outdoor assets for clients in the UK and around the world, displayed on sites including London Underground, Birmingham New Street Station, Manchester Piccadilly Gardens, Toronto Dundas Square, Madrid Callo Square, and many more

Initial brief to final delivery of all assets was four weeks. Alongside production of all assets I was also responsible for all video edits and audio mixing, including the sound design for the trailer shown below.

Central Cee (Warner Records)

Production for one of my favourite pieces of work at Able, a sizzle reel for emerging-rapper Central Cee.

This reel had the unique brief to show ‘a future where Central Cee signs to Warner Records’, and was to be shown during a meeting between the label and the artist’s management to pitch a record deal, with only a week’s turnaround from brief to delivery.

The work involved thinking up different concepts of how we could show industry success, resulting in us mocking up various news articles, magazine covers, and forecasting future wins at awards shows and big live performances.

The reel was ultimately a success, with Central Cee signing a distribution deal with Warner Records following the meeting.

Further to this, the artist’s manager asked us to utilise this creative to make marketing assets for Cee’s new mixtape, updating it with his new music, artwork, and converting it to short ads for Instagram and TikTok.

I was responsible for all production on this job, alongside the sound design for the reel, and creating the news article and magazine cover graphics.

(You can also hear a little bit of my voiceover at 1:26!)

The 1975 (Polydor)

Production for The 1975’s ‘A Brief Enquiry Into Online Relationships’ album campaign. The project centred around a suite of assets for TV and socials in various sizes and durations, blending the branding and the artwork for the album with the band’s varied and well-known music videos.

Additional assets on the campaign included marketing for their Spotify playlist, with a soundbed and video edit spanning the band’s career so far. The campaign culminated in large scale outdoor celebrating their Brit Award success, displayed on sites across London including Waterloo Station.

Initial brief to delivery was roughly 3-4 weeks, with further updates and new assets being created over the course of a 1 year period. Alongside production from start to finish of this campaign, I was also responsible for all the video edits, audio edits, and voiceover mixing across all assets.

Warner Records Mainstage

Production for a presentation reel to be shown across the whole of the Warner Music group at a virtual conference, with three weeks from initial brief to final delivery.

The reel required co-ordinating production between three video editors and three animators, as well as contributing edits and audio mixing myself.

The work also required the co-ordination of a huge number of assets across multiple artist and management teams, to showcase new music and visuals from across Warner Records’ roster, as well as organising the filming of label boss Phil Christie.

Dua Lipa (Warner Records)

Production of marketing assets for Dua Lipa’s ‘Future Nostalgia’ album campaign. The work began with the creation of the main TV and social assets, showcasing Dua’s high-fashion looks alongside the retro aesthetic of the album, and taking place over an initial period of 3 weeks.

The campaign continued over the course of 2020 and into 2021, with updates to our assets promoting the “Bonus Edition” and “Moonlight Edition” re-releases of the album.

The work culminated this April with the making of a final highlight reel, celebrating the album’s incredible success and highlighting Dua’s status in UK and US pop culture.

Alongside production of all assets on the campaign, once again I was responsible for video edits and audio mixing, including those for the sizzle reel below.
